Azerbaijan continues to actively develop its subsidized mortgage lending program. In 2025, the capital of the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund has been increased by 85 million manats, reaching a total of 1 billion 153 million manats. The corresponding decree has already been signed by the country’s President.
This was announced by Deputy Vugar Bayramov on his official Facebook page.
According to the parliamentarian, funds allocated each autumn of the financial year are directly allocated to financing social mortgage loans.
“Increasing the capital of the fund directly influences the expansion of lending opportunities. This not only allows for an increase in the total number of mortgages issued but also significantly expands the portfolio of loans on favorable terms,” noted V. Bayramov.
Statistics demonstrate the program’s effectiveness: to date, the fund has issued 54,918 mortgage loans totaling more than 3 billion 560 million manats.
