Azerbaijan’s reigning champions Qarabağ FK begin their European campaign today with an away clash against Irish side Shelbourne FC in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
The match kicks off at 22:45 Baku time and marks the first leg of the two-match tie.
Qarabağ, a regular contender in European competitions, will look to secure a strong result on the road before the return leg in Baku. The second match is scheduled for July 30 at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium.
The winner of the tie will advance to the third qualifying round, bringing them one step closer to the prestigious group stage of Europe’s premier club competition.
