BAKU, July 22 — Azerbaijani club Neftçi has officially completed the signing of Romanian right-back Cristian Costin, marking another key addition to their squad ahead of the new season.
According to a statement released by the club, the 27-year-old defender has signed a 1+1 year contract with the Baku-based side.
Before joining Neftçi, Costin had spent his entire professional career in Romania, most recently playing for Dinamo Bucharest. Known for his versatility, Costin is capable of performing in multiple positions across the defensive line.
Neftçi’s management highlighted the player’s adaptability and experience as valuable assets for the team’s domestic and European ambitions in the 2024/25 campaign.
