BAKU, July 20 — Azerbaijan’s State Examination Center (SEC) is conducting the first stage of its professional accountant certification exam today, focusing on financial accounting.
According to the SEC, a total of 1,416 candidates have registered to sit for the exam.
The exam begins at 10:00 AM in all venues. Candidates arriving after 9:45 AM will not be allowed entry. The test, which runs for three hours, will include 40 questions: 20 multiple-choice questions worth 1 point each, 10 questions worth 2 points, 8 open-ended questions worth 5 points, and 2 questions worth 10 points.
Participants are required to bring a black or dark blue ink pen, an HB pencil, a calculator, and the following documents:

Exam admission ticket
The exam is conducted on paper across six buildings in Baku and Nakhchivan.
