GENEVA, July 20 — Negotiations between Iran and the European “E3” group—comprising Germany, France, and the United Kingdom—are set to take place in Geneva on July 27, according to Sky News Arabia, citing diplomatic sources.
The talks are aimed at reviving the 2015 nuclear agreement and easing tensions across the region. Sources say the primary focus will be on identifying mutual commitments and establishing new mechanisms for compliance and oversight.
The meeting follows a report by Axios, which revealed that the United States, along with the E3 countries, has agreed to set a deadline of late August 2025 for reaching a new deal with Tehran.
Diplomats involved in the process say that while the path forward remains uncertain, the upcoming Geneva meeting could mark a critical step toward de-escalation and renewed international engagement with Iran’s nuclear program.
