Citing classified sources, the report states that Pezeshkian sustained a leg injury while escaping the blast site through an emergency tunnel. The incident occurred during an Israeli strike reportedly targeting a location where a high-level meeting was underway.
The Iranian president, who had previously hinted at an assassination attempt, told media that Israel deliberately used intelligence data to target the venue of the gathering, aiming to eliminate him.
