Reports circulating in Russian media suggesting that Shahin Shykhlinski, head of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Yekaterinburg, is allegedly wanted by authorities have been firmly denied.
Oxu.az reached out to Shykhlinski’s deputy, who dismissed the claims as false and deliberately spread to discredit him.
“This news was deliberately fabricated to damage his reputation. Shahin Shykhlinski has not been declared wanted. He remains at his workplace and continues to perform his duties as usual,” the deputy said.
