Pashinyan Dismisses Head of State Oversight Service
YEREVAN, July 17 — Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has dismissed Romanos Petrosyan from his post as head of the State Oversight Service.
According to reports in Armenian media, the decision was outlined in an official decree issued by the prime minister’s office.
“Romanos Petrosyan has been relieved of his duties as head of the State Oversight Service. His responsibilities will be temporarily assumed by Deputy Head Robert Bazikyan,” the decree stated.
No official reason for the dismissal has been provided.
