Azerbaijani champions Qarabağ FK will take on Ireland’s Shelbourne FC in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
According to Report.az, Shelbourne advanced after defeating Northern Ireland’s Linfield FC 1–0 in the first leg in Dublin and securing a 1–1 draw in the return leg, thus progressing 2–1 on aggregate.
The first leg of the Qarabağ–Shelbourne tie is scheduled for July 22 or 23, with the return leg set for July 29 or 30.
Qarabağ, a seasoned participant in European competitions, will be aiming to reach the group stage for the first time since the 2017–18 season. Shelbourne, meanwhile, will seek to build on their momentum in what promises to be a closely contested clash.
