Azerbaijani champions Qarabag FK wrapped up their pre-season training camp in Austria with a narrow 2-1 loss to Austrian powerhouse Red Bull Salzburg.
The friendly match, held in Kaprun, marked the final test for Gurban Gurbanov’s side before the team heads back to Baku. Nariman Akhundzade scored the lone goal for the “Horsemen,” but it wasn’t enough to overcome the 17-time Austrian champions.

Qarabag began their summer training on June 18 in Baku before traveling to Austria. Their training camp officially ends on July 16.
