BAKU, July 14, 2025 — Azerbaijani football club Neftçi has announced two more fixtures as part of its preseason training camp in Poland, according to a statement on the club’s official Facebook page.
The Baku-based side will face Israeli team Hapoel Tel Aviv on July 17, followed by a match against Polish outfit Termalica on July 22. These friendlies come as part of the team’s second phase of preseason preparations.
Neftçi began its summer training on June 25 in Baku, wrapping up the local leg on July 14. The squad will then head to Kielce, Poland, where they’ll train from July 15 to August 2. During this period, they’ll be based at the Binkowski Hotel.
In addition to the newly announced matches, Neftçi is scheduled to play Greek side Asteras Tripolis on July 27 and Cypriot club AEL Limassol on August 1.
The series of friendlies is seen as a crucial test for Neftçi as it builds momentum ahead of the upcoming season.
