Bucharest, Romania – Azerbaijan’s women’s national 3×3 basketball team delivered an impressive performance at the Bucharest stop of the FIBA 3×3 World Series, securing two dominant wins to advance to the main stage of the tournament.
Led by head coach Rasa Delić, Team Azerbaijan opened Group A with a commanding 21–10 victory over Japan’s “Tsukuba” and followed it up with a 21–11 win against Switzerland’s “Lausanne.”
With a perfect group stage record, Azerbaijan booked their place in the main round, where they will face Ukraine and Singapore in Group C on July 12.
