Azerbaijan’s U-18 Women’s Basketball Team Scores Second Win at European Championship Division B

Azerbaijan’s U-18 women’s national basketball team has claimed its second victory at the FIBA U18 Women’s European Championship Division B.

According to a statement posted on the official Facebook page of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation, the team defeated Iceland in a Group D matchup with a score of 86–79.

Earlier in the tournament, Azerbaijan celebrated a win over Bosnia and Herzegovina but suffered losses to Ukraine and Lithuania. With this latest victory, the team continues to fight for a strong position in the group stage as the tournament progresses.
