Russia wants to maintain strong, allied relations with Azerbaijan and believes all disagreements should be resolved through constructive dialogue, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said during a press briefing.
“We firmly believe that logic points in one direction: Russia and Azerbaijan are, and must remain, close partners and allies—nations bound by a shared history, a shared present, and a shared future,” Peskov stated.
He emphasized that any issues that arise between the two countries should be addressed in a way that reflects the spirit of cooperation and mutual respect that defines their bilateral relationship.
