Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has extended condolences to the United States following the devastating floods in Texas that claimed at least 50 lives.
In a post shared on the Ministry’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, Azerbaijani officials expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of life and those injured as a result of the flooding in central Texas.
We are deeply saddened by many deaths and injuries as a result of flash floods that hit central #Texas, United States.
We express heartfelt condolences to the U.S. Government and all the people who affected by this tragedy.

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life and injuries caused by the floods in central Texas. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the U.S. government and to all those affected by this tragedy,” the statement read.
Texas has been grappling with severe flooding over the past several days, with extreme weather conditions inundating communities and prompting large-scale emergency responses.
Authorities continue to carry out search-and-rescue operations as the death toll rises and infrastructure damage mounts.
