During his address at the 17th ECO Summit, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized the importance of developing relations with Syria’s new authorities, marking what he described as a new chapter resulting from the Syrian people’s long struggle.
“This is a critical and important period for the continued financial support of the international community in this matter, and for advancing relations with the new leadership in Syria,” Erdoğan stated.
He also underlined the need to support security, peace, and development in Afghanistan, calling it a matter of regional significance.
Additionally, the Turkish leader extended his condolences to the people of Pakistan following the recent tragic terrorist attack, which claimed numerous lives.
