Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of U.S. and global e-commerce giant Amazon, views Azerbaijan as a market with strong potential for the development of cloud technologies.
According to Report, this was stated by AWS Country Manager for Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Mongolia, Inna Ozhogina.
“Based on my experience in other countries, I can see that there is a high level of understanding here of the opportunities and advantages that cloud services can offer businesses, and that this market is already quite mature,” she said.
Ozhogina emphasized that as one of the world’s leading hyperscalers, AWS provides a broad range of cloud services designed to meet the needs of virtually all types of businesses.
She also noted that within the Amazon ecosystem, the company operates low-Earth-orbit satellites under the Project Kuiper initiative, which delivers connectivity services to various countries.
“At present, this service is not available in Azerbaijan, but I hope it will become accessible in the near future,” Ozhogina added.
