Pashinyan: Trump Route Could Become a Key Component of the Middle Corridor

The “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) could become an essential part of the Middle Corridor, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a panel session of the German Council on Foreign Relations in Berlin, Armenian media reported, according to Report.

Pashinyan noted that the large-scale TRIPP project, combined with the opening of transport links between Armenia and Türkiye, “has every chance to become a critical component of the Middle Corridor, ensuring unhindered connectivity between Europe, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia.” He added that the initiative could begin implementation as early as next year.

According to the Armenian leader, TRIPP would significantly expand regional connectivity and deliver broad economic benefits, serving as another factor contributing to lasting peace between Baku and Yerevan.

Pashinyan also highlighted the importance of the joint declaration signed by Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8 in Washington with the participation of U.S. President Donald Trump, stressing Yerevan’s commitment to fulfilling all provisions of the agreement.

“One of the most important achievements in Washington was the decision to open transport links between Armenia and Azerbaijan for domestic, bilateral, and international traffic,” he said.
