Women from Azerbaijan who choose to invest in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) may soon receive the same incentives as local female entrepreneurs, according to TRNC Minister of Labor and Social Protection Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu.
Speaking to Report, the minister said Northern Cyprus offers a 100% premium support package to women starting their own businesses – a program that includes additional financial assistance and full coverage of social insurance contributions by the state.

“We can extend the same privileges to Azerbaijani women investors that we provide to local women,” Hasipoğlu said. “These issues will be discussed in the near future.”
The initiative aims to strengthen economic ties between the TRNC and Azerbaijan and encourage greater participation of women in cross-border investment and entrepreneurship.
