Emergency services in Azerbaijan responded to a fatal car fire on the Bina–Sadarak road in Baku’s Garadagh district after the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received a call through its 112 hotline.
According to the ministry’s press service, units from the State Fire Protection Service were dispatched immediately and extinguished the blaze within a short time.
The vehicle, identified as a Dongfeng Aeolus E70, a Chinese-manufactured sedan, was heavily damaged as its flammable components burned. Firefighters found the charred body of the driver inside the car.

Authorities said communications infrastructure running alongside the roadway was successfully protected from the flames. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
