Azerbaijani athletes who delivered standout performances at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, along with their coaches and support staff, have been officially honored by the state.
As Report notes, President Ilham Aliyev signed an executive order allocating 1.9 million manats from the Presidential Reserve Fund to the Ministry of Youth and Sports for bonuses and recognition payments.
The decree covers athletes who achieved top results at the Games, as well as trainers and specialists involved in preparing Team Azerbaijan for the competition.
