From November 17 to 28, Baku will host the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-2025) – marking the first time this major global event takes place in the CIS region.
According to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the conference is organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) every four years with the goal of reducing the global digital divide and advancing digital transformation.
The event will be held at the Baku Convention Center, serving as an open international platform for innovation, collaboration, and youth participation. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore emerging technology trends, engage with leading experts, and build global partnerships in the telecom and digital sectors.
More than 2,000 delegates from 150 countries, including over 300 young professionals, are expected to participate in WTDC-2025 – highlighting Azerbaijan’s growing role as a hub for digital diplomacy and technological dialogue.
