The Azerbaijani and Turkish communities in the United States marked the 5th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s Victory in the Patriotic War alongside Turkey’s Republic Day, with a cultural event held in the state of Utah.
According to the State Committee on Work with the Diaspora, the celebration was organized with the support of the Committee and the Turkish-American Association of Utah. The event brought together members of both diasporas, local residents, and community leaders.

A video presentation showcased the story of Azerbaijan’s Victory, highlighting the resilience and unity of the Azerbaijani people. The artistic portion of the program featured national music, traditional dances, and culinary displays from both Azerbaijan and Turkey, offering guests a taste of shared cultural heritage.

Speakers at the event emphasized that such gatherings play an important role in strengthening unity between Azerbaijani and Turkish communities in the U.S., while promoting cultural diversity and mutual understanding among the broader American public.
