Azerbaijan’s Araz-Nakhchivan has secured a place in the UEFA Futsal Champions League playoffs after finishing first in Group VII with an unbeaten record.
According to Report, Araz-Nakhchivan defeated Dutch champions Tigers Roermond 3–2 in their final group-stage match, bringing their total to seven points and securing the top spot in the group.
Under the leadership of head coach Yevgeniy Kukshevich, the Azerbaijani side began the tournament with a 2–1 victory over hosts United Galati of Romania and later drew 2–2 against Luxembourg champions Differdange 03.
The result marks another milestone for one of Azerbaijan’s most successful futsal clubs, as Araz-Nakhchivan continues its strong tradition of international competition and consistency in European tournaments.
