Azerbaijan’s private non-oil exporters recorded a sharp 88% increase in foreign sales during the first nine months of 2025, reaching a total of $446.9 million, according to data from the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
From January to September 2024, the same group of exporters had achieved $237.7 million in total sales. The 2025 figures reflect growing diversification of Azerbaijan’s non-oil economy, with major gains in mining, agriculture, metallurgy, and industrial processing.
Prime Cotton Leads the Ranking
The country’s largest private non-oil exporter was Prime Cotton LLC, which shipped goods worth $90.8 million, a 14.2% increase from last year’s $79.5 million.
It was followed by Azerbaijan International Mining Company LLC, whose exports soared 324.5%, from $20 million to $84.9 million.

The data confirm that industrial and agro-industrial producers are driving much of Azerbaijan’s non-oil export growth, supported by government incentives, logistics reforms, and broader access to international markets.
Officials say the continued expansion of private exporters reflects the country’s success in implementing its export-oriented diversification policy, a key pillar of Azerbaijan’s long-term economic development strategy “Azerbaijan 2030.”
