A total of 58 people arrived in Azerbaijan seeking asylum between January and August 2025, marking a 3.6% increase compared with the same period last year, Report has said.
During the same period, 263 individuals were granted refugee status under the 1951 Refugee Convention, representing a 19.5% rise year-on-year.
Meanwhile, the number of stateless persons arriving in Azerbaijan declined by 38.7%, totaling 536 individuals, compared to the first nine months of 2024.
