Azerbaijan plans to set the minimum subsistence level and the poverty threshold at 300 manats for the coming year, according to Musa Guliyev, chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Labor and Social Policy.
Guliyev said the new figure represents an increase of 15 manats, or 5.3 percent, compared to 2025 levels.
He noted that the minimum subsistence level will stand at 317 manats for the working-age population, 245 manats for pensioners, and 260 manats for children.
