Azerbaijan has climbed to second place in the overall medal standings at the 3rd CIS Games, according to the event’s official website.
As of now, Azerbaijani athletes have earned 33 gold, 53 silver, and 92 bronze medals, marking one of the country’s strongest performances in the history of the Games.
The medal table is currently led by Russia with 124 gold, 61 silver, and 40 bronze medals. Belarus holds third place with 32 gold, 35 silver, and 52 bronze.
