Azerbaijan deported 429 foreign nationals in the third quarter of 2025 for violating migration laws, the State Migration Service (SMS) reported.
The individuals have been barred from re-entering the country for a legally defined period.
According to the agency, a total of 7,718 administrative decisions were issued during the quarter concerning violations by foreign citizens and stateless persons related to residence, employment, and other migration regulations.
Among them, 3,245 individuals were detained during operations targeting irregular migration. For some offenders, authorities facilitated either the legalization of their residence status or voluntary departure from Azerbaijan.
The SMS also uncovered three cases of organized irregular migration, which have been referred to law enforcement bodies for further investigation.
