Banks in Azerbaijan issued loans totaling 28.7 billion manats (≈ $16.9 billion) in the first eight months of 2025, with 21.8 billion manats (≈ $12.8 billion) concentrated in Baku, according to olke.az.
The capital also recorded the lowest interest rates in the country, averaging 12.63%.
