Azerbaijani para-athlete Roman Saley has added another medal to his tally at the World Para Swimming Championships in Singapore.
Competing in the S12 classification, Saley claimed the silver medal in the men’s 50-meter freestyle, finishing with a time of 24.27 seconds, the National Paralympic Committee reported.

This marks his third podium finish of the competition. On the opening day, he struck gold in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:01.58, and followed it with a bronze in the 100-meter butterfly (58.17).
Saley’s consistent performance across strokes and distances confirms his status as one of Azerbaijan’s leading Paralympic athletes.
