An EVA Air flight traveling from Bangkok to London made an unscheduled landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku on Sunday evening after a passenger onboard suffered a sudden medical emergency.
Airport officials confirmed that the Boeing 777 landed safely at 5:44 p.m. local time following the crew’s request for an emergency stop.

Medical staff met the aircraft on the tarmac and provided immediate assistance to the passenger, who is now under observation as doctors assess his condition.
