Baku, September 19, 2025
Children in Azerbaijan who have lost their parents or been deprived of parental care will receive a one-time payment of 2,600 manats upon graduation, according to a Cabinet resolution signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
The payout will be financed from the budgets of the graduates’ respective educational institutions and applies to those completing general education, vocational schools, secondary specialized colleges, and universities.

The measure implements Presidential Decree No. 359 (April 1, 2025), which put into effect Law No. 151-VIIQD (March 7, 2025) amending the law on social protection for children who have lost their parents or are without parental care, Report informs.
