Baku, September 13
Azerbaijani defender Turan Manafov has signed for South African club Stellenbosch FC on a contract running to June 2028, the club announced. The 27-year-old will wear the No. 2 shirt.
“I’m very happy to join Stellenbosch. The club’s ideas and principles appealed to me,” Manafov told the club’s media, adding that matches in South Africa are played at a faster tempo than in Azerbaijan.

A former Azerbaijan U-21 international, Manafov’s last club was Kəpəz. His debut for Stellenbosch has been delayed due to work-permit formalities.
