A recent online ad in Azerbaijan has raised eyebrows after a Savannah cat was listed for sale at the extraordinary price of 17,000 manats (nearly $10,000).

The Savannah, a hybrid breed descended from an African serval, is among the world’s most expensive domestic cats. While such pets often command high prices abroad, the Baku listing sparked debate on social media, where users called the sum “fantastic” and compared it to the cost of a new car.
