With the new school year beginning, families across Azerbaijan are hunting for uniforms, backpacks, and supplies. Media.Az reports that uniform prices have held steady or even dipped in 2025, offering some relief to household budgets.
Uniforms: Lower Prices, Mixed Reviews
According to Media.Az, Bakı tikiş evi (BTE) kept prices flat or reduced them this year:
Short-sleeve polo: 8 AZN
Long-sleeve polo: 10 AZN
Trousers / Skirts: 15 AZN
Wool jacket: 20 AZN (previously ~30 AZN)
Parents on social media, however, question durability despite BTE’s one-year guarantee, with repeated complaints about trousers/skirts wearing out and polos deforming after washes. Some families opt for tailor-made uniforms instead.
