Turnover via New-Generation Cash Registers in Azerbaijan Rises 12.3%

The turnover processed through next-generation cash registers in Azerbaijan reached 17.6 billion manats in January–August 2025, marking a 12.3% increase compared to the same period last year, Report said, citing the State Tax Service.

According to the agency, 108,255 new cash registers have been installed across the country. Officials noted that the system improves transparency in transactions, curbs illegal trade, and strengthens oversight of retail turnover.
