Pashinyan to Address 80th Session of UN General Assembly in New York

NEW YORK, September 8

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will deliver a speech at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the American bureau of Report learned from UNGA President’s spokesperson Sharon Birch.

According to Birch, Pashinyan is ninth on the list of scheduled speakers and will address the Assembly on September 26.

The high-level week of the UN General Assembly will run from September 23 to 30 at UN headquarters in New York. By tradition, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will open the session, followed by a speech from U.S. President Donald Trump.

Heads of state, prime ministers, and foreign ministers from UN member countries are expected to participate in the 80th session.
